Engagement Overview

This proposal outlines the interior design engagement Northwind Studio will run for Acme Co. It covers the initial design concept and space planning, sourcing and procurement of furniture and finishes, and coordination through install day and the final reveal.

Objectives

• Deliver a distinct, on-brief concept that reflects how you actually live and use the space.
• Coordinate sourcing and procurement so every piece lands on time and in spec.
• Manage a clean, on-time install with minimal disruption to your household or business.
• Source with your budget in mind, mixing investment pieces with smart trade finds.

Scope of Work

The project runs across three phases. Each closes with a written deliverable and a review meeting before the next begins.

What is included

• Mood boards for each space and a to-scale floor plan
• Full sourcing list with specifications and trade pricing
• Procurement coordination, order tracking, and receiving
• Install day management and placement of every piece
• Final styling with accessories, art, and finishing touches

Not included: the cost of furniture and materials (billed as pass-through at trade or retail), general contractor and trades work, structural or architectural changes, and upcharges for fully custom fabrication. New scope can be added in writing at any time.

Investment

Design fees are fixed by phase, billed 30/40/30 across the engagement. Furniture and materials are billed separately as pass-through at cost. Line items below map to the phases in the scope of work.

Payment Schedule

Invoices are due within 15 days. The full engagement runs approximately 10 to 12 weeks from kickoff, subject to lead times and the install month you provide on the acceptance page.

Acceptance

To proceed, complete the fields below and sign. This proposal is valid for 30 days from the date on the cover.
