Project Overview

This proposal outlines the engineering design services Northwind Studio will provide for Acme Co. It covers the work from concept design through design development to a final, stamped drawing set ready for permit and construction.

Objectives

• Deliver a code-compliant design that meets local jurisdiction requirements.
• Produce permit-ready drawings suitable for submission and construction bids.
• Coordinate the design across civil, structural, and mechanical disciplines.
• Provide stamped deliverables signed and sealed by a licensed professional engineer.

Scope of Work

The design runs across three phases. Each closes with a drawing package and a review meeting before the next begins.

What is included

• Site analysis and review of existing project information
• Engineering calculations across the relevant disciplines
• Drawing sets at concept, development, and final phases
• Coordination with related trades and outside consultants
• Final drawings signed and sealed with a PE stamp

Not included: permit application fees, construction observation and site inspections (available as a separate scope), specialty consultants such as geotechnical or environmental, and existing conditions surveys. New scope can be added in writing at any time.

Investment

The engagement is a fixed fee split across the three design phases. Line items below map to the phases in the scope of work.

Payment Schedule

Invoices are due within 15 days. Total delivery from kickoff to stamped drawings is 8 to 10 weeks, subject to the kickoff month you provide on the acceptance page.

Acceptance

To proceed, complete the fields below and sign. This proposal is valid for 30 days from the date on the cover.
