Engagement Overview

This proposal outlines the residential landscape design engagement Northwind Studio will lead for Acme Co. It covers site analysis, concept development, design refinement, and the construction documents that hand cleanly to your installer.

Objectives

• Design a site-sensitive plan that responds to sun, grade, drainage, and views.
• Curate a cohesive materials and planting palette that reads well year-round.
• Deliver permit-ready plans that move through review without rework.
• Produce install-friendly documentation your contractor can build from directly.

Scope of Work

The engagement runs across three phases. Each closes with a written deliverable and a review meeting before the next begins.

What is included

• On-site walkthrough and site analysis
• Concept plan with directional options
• Planting palette with species, quantities, and sizes
• Hardscape design and materials board
• Construction drawings and specifications

Not included: installation labor, plant material and hardscape costs (billed pass-through by the installer), permit fees, and irrigation system engineering. New scope can be added in writing at any time.

Investment

The design fee is fixed per phase. Line items below map to the phases in the scope of work. Plant material, hardscape material, and installation labor are billed separately as pass-through by your installer.

Payment Schedule

Invoices are due within 15 days. Full timeline is 8 to 10 weeks from kickoff, subject to the install season you specify on the acceptance page.

Acceptance

To proceed, complete the fields below and sign. This proposal is valid for 30 days from the date on the cover.
