Parties and Wedding

This agreement is entered into by Northwind Studio (the "Videographer") and Acme Co (the "Couple") for the wedding film services described below. Replace the sample details with the specifics of the venue, timeline, and delivery preferences before signing.

COVERAGE

8 hours

Continuous filming from prep through the first dances of the evening.

FILMS

Highlight film plus a longer feature edit of the ceremony and speeches.

DELIVERY

10 weeks

From wedding day to final delivery of edited films.

Recitals

The Couple wishes to engage the Videographer to film their wedding day and edit it into shareable films, and the Videographer holds the equipment, experience, and availability to deliver those services on the agreed date. Both parties agree to the scope, fees, and terms set out in this contract, which supersedes any prior verbal or written understanding on the same subject.

Coverage and Deliverables

The Videographer's work runs across three phases so the Couple can see how the day is filmed and delivered.

PHASE 1 · PRE-WEDDING

Planning and prep

Planning call to review timeline, key moments, music preferences, and coordination with the photographer. Includes a venue walkthrough or floor plan review where possible and a written run of show.

PHASE 2 · WEDDING DAY

Wedding-day filming

Continuous filming with a two-camera setup, wireless audio for vows and speeches, and discreet lighting where needed. Backup cameras, cards, and audio are on hand throughout the day.

PHASE 3 · POST-PRODUCTION

Editing and delivery

Editorial through picture lock with color grade and sound mix. A short highlight preview is shared within four weeks; final films are delivered via a private online gallery with download rights for personal use.

What is included

Planning call and coordination with the photographer
Two-camera coverage with wireless audio for vows and speeches
Backup gear on site and off-site backup of media after the wedding
Highlight film plus feature edit of ceremony and speeches
One round of consolidated revisions on the highlight film

Not included: licensed music beyond royalty-free tracks, drone coverage, physical media, and travel outside the local area. New scope can be added in writing at any time.

Fees and Cancellation

The engagement is a fixed-fee booking. A non-refundable retainer holds the date, with the balance due before the wedding.

Payment Schedule

Cancellation and Force Majeure

The retainer is non-refundable and reserves the date. If the Couple cancels more than 90 days before the wedding, no further payment is owed. Cancellations inside 90 days require payment of 50% of the remaining balance; inside 30 days, the full balance is due. If the wedding cannot proceed due to causes beyond either party's control, both parties will make a good-faith effort to reschedule within twelve months.
