Parties and Wedding

This agreement is entered into by Northwind Studio (the "Photographer") and Acme Co (the "Couple") for the wedding photography services described below. Replace the sample details with the specifics of the venue, timeline, and delivery preferences before signing.

Recitals

The Couple wishes to engage the Photographer to document their wedding day, and the Photographer holds the equipment, experience, and availability to provide that coverage on the agreed date. Both parties agree to the scope, fees, and terms set out in this contract, which supersedes any prior verbal or written understanding on the same subject.

Coverage and Deliverables

The Photographer's work is grouped into three phases so both sides share a view of how the wedding day is covered and delivered.

PHASE 1 · PRE-WEDDING

Planning and prep

Planning call to review timeline, shot list, family group photos, and venue logistics. Includes a site walkthrough or floor plan review where possible and confirmation of the day-of point of contact.

PHASE 2 · WEDDING DAY

Wedding-day coverage

Continuous coverage of prep, ceremony, portraits, reception, and the opening of dancing. A second shooter is included on request; a backup body, lenses, and cards are on hand throughout the day.

PHASE 3 · POST-WEDDING

Editing and delivery

Selects, color correction, and a curated gallery of edited images delivered through a private online gallery with print release. A short highlight preview is shared within 10 business days of the wedding.

Not included: physical prints, albums, engagement sessions, and travel outside the local area. New scope can be added in writing at any time.

Fees and Cancellation

The engagement is a fixed-fee booking. A non-refundable retainer holds the date, with the balance due before the wedding.

Payment Schedule

Cancellation and Force Majeure

The retainer is non-refundable and reserves the date. If the Couple cancels more than 90 days before the wedding, no further payment is owed. Cancellations inside 90 days require payment of 50% of the remaining balance; inside 30 days, the full balance is due. If the wedding cannot proceed due to causes beyond either party's control, both parties will make a good-faith effort to reschedule within twelve months.

About this template
