Product Design Contract

A product design engagement between Northwind Studio and Acme Co covering research, UX, UI, and prototype delivery.

Parties and Engagement

This agreement is entered into by Northwind Studio (the "Designer") and Acme Co (the "Client") for the design of the product surfaces defined during discovery. All final design files are delivered in Figma, and the Client owns the working files at project close.

Recitals

The Client wishes to engage the Designer to shape the user experience and interface of the product described during discovery. The Designer brings the research method, craft, and Figma system needed to deliver production-ready designs. This contract governs the engagement and supersedes any prior understanding on the same subject.

Scope of Work

The engagement runs across three phases. Each closes with a working file, a written summary, and a review meeting with the Client's product lead.

What is included

• Up to 6 user interviews and 3 unmoderated usability tests
• Wireframes and high-fidelity screens for 4 primary flows
• Interactive Figma prototype for stakeholder review
• Design system components published back into the Client's library
• Two rounds of revisions per deliverable

Not included:illustration, motion design, brand identity, front-end implementation, and analytics instrumentation. New scope can be added in writing at any time.

Investment

The engagement is a fixed-fee project billed against the three phases. Line items below map to the phases in the scope of work.

Payment Schedule

Invoices are due within 15 days. The engagement runs 10 weeks from kickoff, subject to the start month you provide on the acceptance page.

Acceptance

To proceed, complete the fields below and sign. This contract is valid for 30 days from the date on the cover.
