Parties and Shoot

This agreement is entered into by Northwind Studio (the "Photographer") and Acme Co (the "Client") for photography services described below. The shoot type, location, and date are recorded on the acceptance page and held exclusively for the Client once the retainer is received.

Continuous coverage on the shoot day.

Recitals

The Client is engaging the Photographer for a specific shoot and its post-production. The Photographer works in their own creative style; both parties agree that a clear shot list, honest expectations about lighting and location, and calm coordination on the day are what turn a session into images the Client will keep.

Coverage and Deliverables

The engagement runs in three phases: pre-shoot planning, the shoot day itself, and post-production and delivery.

PHASE 1 · PRE-SHOOT PLANNING

Pre-shoot planning

One 60-minute planning call to agree on the shot list, timing, locations, and any special requests. Location scouting is done in advance where practical, and a final run-of-show is shared with the Client one week before the shoot.

PHASE 2 · SHOOT DAY

Shoot day coverage

Up to six continuous hours of coverage at the agreed location, using professional-grade cameras and lighting with backup equipment on site. The Photographer directs subjects and pacing to keep the shoot on schedule.

PHASE 3 · POST-PRODUCTION AND DELIVERY

Post-production and delivery

A curated selection of at least 75 edited high-resolution images, color-corrected and retouched in the Photographer's signature style, delivered via a private online gallery within three weeks of the shoot.

Not included:raw unedited files, permits, venue or location fees, hair and makeup, additional shooters or assistants, prints, albums, and travel outside the local area. New scope can be added in writing at any time.

Fees, Rights and Cancellation

The shoot is a fixed-fee booking. A retainer holds the date; the balance is due before the shoot day.

Payment Schedule

The retainer is non-refundable and reserves the date. If the Client cancels more than 30 days before the shoot, no further payment is owed. Cancellations within 30 days require 50% of the remaining balance. Weather or venue-driven reschedules are honored subject to availability at no additional charge.

About this template
