MOBILE DESIGN CONTRACT
This agreement is entered into by Northwind Studio (the "Designer") and Acme Co (the "Client") for the design of a native mobile application. Scope covers UX, UI, prototypes, and a design system handoff for the engineering team building the app.
PLATFORMS
iOS + Android
Native design language applied per platform where it matters.
SCREENS
~35
Core flows across onboarding, main app, and settings.
TIMELINE
10 weeks
From kickoff to design system handoff.
The Client is building a native mobile app and needs a partner to shape the user experience, visual design, and design system. Both parties agree that quick iteration, honest usability feedback, and a tight loop with engineering are what separate a good mobile app from a shipped one.

The project runs in three phases. Each closes with a working deliverable and a review before the next phase begins.
PHASE 1 · UX AND FLOWS
Discovery, information architecture, user flows, and low-fidelity wireframes for every core screen. Closes with an interactive click-through prototype used to validate the structure with real users.
PHASE 2 · VISUAL DESIGN
High-fidelity mockups for iOS and Android across the approved flows, respecting each platform's native patterns. Two revision rounds on the visual language, plus an interactive prototype for the primary user journey.
PHASE 3 · DESIGN SYSTEM AND HANDOFF
A component library covering typography, color, spacing, icons, and reusable UI patterns. Handoff sessions with engineering, ongoing Q&A during the build, and design QA on the first release build.
Not included: mobile engineering, brand identity development, illustration, motion beyond micro-interactions, App Store and Play Store listing assets, and localization. New scope can be added in writing at any time.

The Mobile Design Contract template is a five-page document for putting the arrangement on paper before it starts. It carries a cover, a parties and purpose page with stat cards, a scope or terms section broken into three tracks with obligations, a fees or reference table with a computed total, and an acceptance page with inputs and signatures.
It is intentionally simple: rename what needs renaming in Bonsai, adjust the terms to match your engagement, and set the numbers. Merge fields handle the party names and date, and the last page collects the details you asked for, an authorization checkbox, and both signatures.
Everything below comes pre-configured. Turn sections on or off, edit the copy, or add your own — Bonsai remembers your choices for next time.
Can I edit every section? Yes — every heading, paragraph, stat, table row, and signature block is fully editable in Bonsai.
Can I add more pages? Yes — add, reorder, or duplicate pages once the template is open.
Do merge fields auto-fill? Yes — Sender, Receiver, and Date pull from your client contact and the current date automatically.
