Mentoring Contract

A mentoring agreement between Northwind Studio and Acme Co covering the mentoring relationship, sessions, and shared expectations.

Parties and Relationship

This agreement is entered into by Northwind Studio (the "Mentor") and Acme Co (the "Mentee") for a structured mentoring engagement. Mentoring is grounded in the Mentor's direct experience; it is not therapy, formal coaching accreditation, or legal, financial, or medical advice.

Recitals

The Mentee is engaging the Mentor for guidance drawn from the Mentor's professional experience. The Mentor shares perspective, opens their network where appropriate, and challenges the Mentee's thinking. The Mentee remains fully responsible for their own decisions, career choices, and business outcomes.

Scope of Mentoring

The engagement runs across three parts: shape the goals, work the sessions, review and decide what is next.

What is included

• One 90-minute intake session and a shared mentoring plan
• Five 60-minute monthly mentoring sessions over video
• Async message support with a 48-hour response window
• Two warm introductions from the Mentor's network where relevant
• Closing review session and written summary

Not included: formal coaching hours toward accreditation, therapy, legal, financial, medical, or tax advice, executive search or recruiting, and guarantees of specific career or business outcomes.

Fees and Conduct

The engagement is billed as a flat program fee, payable in three installments across the six-month term.

Payment Schedule

Rescheduling and Cancellation

Sessions can be rescheduled with at least 48 hours' notice. Sessions cancelled inside that window are treated as delivered. Either party may end the engagement in writing with 30 days' notice; any prepaid, undelivered sessions are refunded pro rata.

Confidentiality and Conflicts

Anything shared inside a mentoring session is treated as confidential and is not disclosed to third parties without written consent, except where disclosure is required by law. The Mentor will flag and step back from any topic that presents a material conflict of interest.

Acceptance

To start the mentoring relationship, complete the fields below and sign. The intake session is scheduled once this agreement is signed and the first installment is received.
