MENTORING CONTRACT
This agreement is entered into by Northwind Studio (the "Mentor") and Acme Co (the "Mentee") for a structured mentoring engagement. Mentoring is grounded in the Mentor's direct experience; it is not therapy, formal coaching accreditation, or legal, financial, or medical advice.
TERM
6 months
Initial mentoring term with a review point at month three.
SESSIONS
Monthly
One 60-minute session each month over video conference.
ACCESS
Async
Message support between sessions for quick reads and intros.
The Mentee is engaging the Mentor for guidance drawn from the Mentor's professional experience. The Mentor shares perspective, opens their network where appropriate, and challenges the Mentee's thinking. The Mentee remains fully responsible for their own decisions, career choices, and business outcomes.

MENTORING CONTRACT
The engagement runs across three parts: shape the goals, work the sessions, review and decide what is next.
PART 1 · GOAL SETTING
An initial 90-minute session to hear the Mentee's context, career or business goals, current challenges, and what success looks like at the end of six months. Closes with a shared one-page mentoring plan.
PART 2 · MONTHLY MENTORING
Five 60-minute sessions on a monthly cadence, structured around the Mentee's live challenges. Each session closes with the specific actions the Mentee will take before the next session.
PART 3 · REVIEW AND NEXT CHAPTER
A closing session to compare progress against the original goals, name what shifted, and decide whether to renew the arrangement, take a break, or wrap the relationship cleanly.
Not included: formal coaching hours toward accreditation, therapy, legal, financial, medical, or tax advice, executive search or recruiting, and guarantees of specific career or business outcomes.

Anything shared inside a mentoring session is treated as confidential and is not disclosed to third parties without written consent, except where disclosure is required by law. The Mentor will flag and step back from any topic that presents a material conflict of interest.

The Mentoring Contract template is a five-page document for putting the arrangement on paper before it starts. It carries a cover, a parties and purpose page with stat cards, a scope or terms section broken into three tracks with obligations, a fees or reference table with a computed total, and an acceptance page with inputs and signatures.
It is intentionally simple: rename what needs renaming in Bonsai, adjust the terms to match your engagement, and set the numbers. Merge fields handle the party names and date, and the last page collects the details you asked for, an authorization checkbox, and both signatures.
Everything below comes pre-configured. Turn sections on or off, edit the copy, or add your own — Bonsai remembers your choices for next time.
Can I edit every section? Yes — every heading, paragraph, stat, table row, and signature block is fully editable in Bonsai.
Can I add more pages? Yes — add, reorder, or duplicate pages once the template is open.
Do merge fields auto-fill? Yes — Sender, Receiver, and Date pull from your client contact and the current date automatically.
