PHASE 3 · INSTALL AND CLOSEOUT
Install day covering every room in scope, styling with the placed inventory, and a walk-through with the Client to close out the project.
Not included: architectural services, structural work, contractor labor, permits, appliances, and freight or receiving fees. Designer purchases furnishings at trade prices; Client pays trade cost plus a 20% procurement fee on each order.

The Interior Designer Contract Template is a five-page document for locking in an interior design project before work starts. It covers concept, specification, install, a fee table with a computed total, and a signature page ready for both sides.
It is intentionally simple: rename what needs renaming in Bonsai, set your design fee and procurement percentage, and confirm the room count. Merge fields handle the client details and date, and the last page collects a PO number, kickoff month, and both signatures.
Everything below comes pre-configured. Turn sections on or off, edit the copy, or add your own — Bonsai remembers your choices for next time.
Can I edit every section? Yes — every heading, paragraph, phase, fee row, and signature block is fully editable in Bonsai.
Can I change the procurement fee? Yes — edit the trade percentage to match how you bill procurement.
Do merge fields auto-fill? Yes — Sender, Receiver, and Date pull from your client contact and the current date automatically.
