Graphic Design Retainer Contract

An agreement from Northwind Studio covering the monthly design capacity, brief process, and reporting.

Parties and Overview

This agreement is entered into by Northwind Studio (the "Studio") and Acme Co (the "Client") for the ongoing design retainer described below. The Studio reserves capacity each month and prioritizes the Client's briefs.

Objectives

• Reserve dedicated design capacity every month.
• Turn briefs into on-brand assets at a predictable pace.
• Keep the Client's brand system consistent over time.
• Report clearly on hours used, delivered, and remaining.

Scope and Deliverables

The retainer covers ongoing design production across three delivery tracks that run each month.

What is included

• Reserved 40 hours per month for the Client
• Two revision rounds per deliverable
• Monthly production calendar and hours report
• Onboarding and brand system setup

Not included: photography, illustration commissions, video production, and print production management. Unused hours do not roll over; up to 20% overage is billed at the retainer rate.

Fees and Payment

The retainer is billed monthly in advance and reserves 40 hours of studio capacity each month for the Client.

Payment Schedule

Invoices are due within 15 days. After the initial six-month term the retainer renews monthly and either party may cancel with 30 days' written notice.

Acceptance

To proceed, complete the fields below and sign. This contract is valid for 30 days from the date on the cover.
