WordPress Website Design Contract

An agreement from Northwind Studio covering the design, custom theme development, and launch of a WordPress site.

Parties and Overview

This agreement is entered into by Northwind Studio (the "Designer") and Acme Co (the "Client") for the WordPress website project described below. The Designer covers design, custom theme development, and launch.

Objectives

• Ship a WordPress site that matches the design intent.
• Deliver a custom theme that is easy to maintain.
• Configure the CMS so the Client can edit with confidence.
• Transfer full theme code and admin access on final payment.

Scope and Deliverables

The project runs across three phases. Each closes with a written deliverable and a review meeting before the next begins.

What is included

• Sitemap, wireframes, and high-fidelity design
• Custom WordPress theme with block templates
• Content migration from the existing site
• QA, launch, and admin training session

Not included: hosting fees, copywriting, photography, premium plugins, and ongoing maintenance. Additional scope is added via written change order.

Fees and Payment

The project is a fixed-fee engagement billed against the three phases. Line items below map to the phases in the scope of work.

Payment Schedule

Invoices are due within 15 days. The project runs 10 to 12 weeks from kickoff, subject to timely feedback and content delivery from the Client.

Acceptance

To proceed, complete the fields below and sign. This contract is valid for 30 days from the date on the cover.
