PR Contract

An agreement from Northwind Studio covering the PR retainer, media strategy, outreach, and monthly reporting.

Parties and Overview

This agreement is entered into by Northwind Studio (the "Agency") and Acme Co (the "Client") for the public relations retainer described below. The Agency reserves capacity each month and runs the media program to the Client's brand and messaging guidelines.

Objectives

• Ship consistent, on-message media coverage.
• Build proactive relationships with target reporters.
• Manage reactive requests and executive commentary.
• Report clearly on coverage, share of voice, and outcomes.

Scope and Deliverables

The retainer runs across three tracks that continue throughout the engagement.

What is included

• Positioning workshop and 90-day PR plan
• Ongoing proactive and reactive media outreach
• Press release drafting and interview prep
• Monthly written report and coverage log

Not included: paid media, awards submissions with entry fees, third-party monitoring tools, and crisis retainers. Additional work is added via written amendment before it starts.

Fees and Payment

The retainer is billed as a one-time onboarding fee plus a monthly retainer, with a small budget line for third-party costs.

Payment Schedule

Invoices are due within 15 days. After the initial six months the retainer renews monthly and either party may cancel with 30 days' written notice.

Acceptance

To proceed, complete the fields below and sign. This contract is valid for 30 days from the date on the cover.
