Freelance Creator Contract

An agreement between Northwind Studio and Acme Co covering the creative deliverables described in the scope, usage rights, and payment terms.

Parties and Overview

This agreement is entered into by Northwind Studio (the "Creator") and Acme Co (the "Client") for the engagement described below. It sets out the key terms, deliverables, fees, and acceptance required to move forward.

Background

The Client wishes to engage the Creator on the terms described in this contract. Both parties confirm they have the authority to enter this agreement and that it supersedes any prior verbal or written understanding on the same subject.

Scope of Work

The engagement runs across three phases. Each closes with a written deliverable and a review before the next begins.

What is included

• Kickoff call and written creative brief
• Production of the scoped deliverables
• Two revision rounds per deliverable
• Twelve-month usage license for the delivered work

Not included: new deliverables added after the brief is signed, stock assets, third-party licensing, and usage in advertising media not agreed in the brief. New scope can be added in writing at any time.

Fees and Payment

The fees below cover the scope of work in the previous section. Payment terms are set out in the schedule that follows.

Payment Schedule

The Client receives the usage license described above on final payment. The Creator retains the underlying copyright and the right to include the work in a portfolio.

Acceptance

To proceed, complete the fields below and sign. This agreement is valid for 30 days from the date on the cover.
