Overview

This contract sets out the services Northwind Studio will deliver to Acme Co. It covers scope, timeline, and payment terms with clear expectations on communication and change orders.

Objectives

• Deliver the agreed scope on the agreed timeline.
• Keep communication predictable with a weekly status cadence.
• Handle change requests with clear written change orders.
• Set payment milestones tied to progress, not the calendar.

Scope of Work

The engagement runs across three phases. Each closes with a written deliverable and an approval checkpoint before the next begins.

What is included

• Kickoff meeting and written project plan
• Weekly status calls and written recaps
• Two rounds of revisions on major deliverables
• Final delivery and handoff session

Not included: ongoing maintenance after handoff, third-party licensing or subscription costs, and work outside the agreed scope. Additional scope can be added in writing at any time.

Fees and Payment

The engagement is billed in three fixed installments tied to the phases above. Additional revision rounds and out-of-scope work are billed at $175 per hour.

Payment Schedule

Invoices are due within 15 days. Work is not scheduled until the deposit is received. Deliverables transfer to the Client on receipt of final payment.

Acceptance

To start the engagement, complete the fields below and sign. Kickoff is scheduled within one week of the deposit being received.
