Overview

This agreement sets out the bookkeeping services Northwind Studio will deliver to Acme Co. It covers historical catch-up, monthly close and reporting, and a clean year-end tie-out package.

• Deliver reliable monthly financials to leadership.
• Hand off a clean year-end package to the tax preparer.
• Keep responsibilities and fees clear on both sides.

Scope of Work

The engagement runs across three coordinated streams. Each has a defined cadence and closes with a documented deliverable.

What is included

• Onboarding and historical catch-up
• Monthly reconciliation, categorization, and close
• Standard P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reports
• Year-end tie-out package to the tax preparer

Not included: tax preparation, payroll processing, sales tax filing, accounts payable and receivable management, and full-cycle financial statement audits. Additional scope can be added in writing at any time.

Fees and Payment

Fees are a fixed monthly retainer, plus fixed one-time amounts for onboarding and the year-end tie-out.

Payment Schedule

Invoices are due within 15 days. The agreement continues month to month and can be ended by either party with 30 days written notice.

Acceptance

To engage the bookkeeper under this agreement, complete the fields below and sign. Catch-up work is scheduled within one week of the signed agreement being returned.
